Unfortunately\, these same technologies that are supposed to make the world a better place are also invading our privacy and extracting our data\, often without our consent. This had led to an ever-expanding state of surveillance. \n\n\n\nMijente has organized against migrant prosecutions and deportations\, and technology has always come in the picture of aiding the acceleration of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations. Tech companies like Palantir\, Amazon\, and others are building the tools used to surveil\, incarcerate\, and deport our communities. The Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights (GLAHR) has worked in the efforts to take back tech by continuing the fight against a state of surveillance in the state of Georgia\, and we continue mobilizing even during this pandemic. \n\n\n\nThe NoTechforICE campaign aims to create a free future for our pueblo by taking back TECH.
