We recognize the importance of \nadvocating for ourselves and the power that we can have on legislative \nprocesses. \n\n\n\nJOIN US FOR AN EVENT SERIES TO DEFEAT \nDANGEROUS BILLS THAT ATTEMPT TO STRIP OUR COMMUNITIES OF THEIR AGENCY \nAND UNDERMINE OUR VOICES. \n\n\n\nDAY 1: TRAIN THE TRAINERS DAY\nFriday\, March 6\, 2020 | 11AM-2PM | 3913 Church St\, Clarkston\, GA 30021 \n\n\n\nIn light of International Women’s Day\, \nwomen activists of color will introduce the importance of connecting \nGlobal Struggles to our own\, lead training on lobbying practices and \ntalking to our legislators\, and facilitate discussion of bills that we \nneed to fight to protect our communities. \n\n\n\nThere will be interpretation available in Spanish\, Arabic and French. \n\n\n\nLUNCH WILL BE SERVED! \n\n\n\nDAY 2: LOBBY DAY\nMonday\, March 9\, 2020 | 10AM-1PM | 206 Washington St. SW\, Atlanta\, GA 30334 | Room Cap 125 \n\n\n\nJoin us at the Capitol Building for a  live press conference on the state of harmful bills and their impact on our communities. We will do a refresher on lobbying practices and put those practices into action!
